Although this position can be achieved by piling pillows under your head, it can be quite uncomfortable on your back and the pillows may get disarranged when you unconsciously move while sleeping.

A snoring habit is usually the byproduct of a larger lifestyle issue. Individuals who are overweight, chronic smokers, or habitual alcohol drinkers may be predisposed to snoring at night due to the lifestyle they lead. Changing such lifestyle habits can lead to significant reductions in both the frequency and intensity of snoring.
